Gandhi, Amma, and Earth Ethics
All are welcome to a free talk by the author of Earth Ethics, followed by movies.
On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birthday, and the International Day for Non-Violence, Dr. P.K. Willey gave a talk with selections from her book Earth Ethics, a seminal volume and people\s manual for arriving at global consensus in the 21st century.
It was held at the Kultur Kafëet, starting at 16:00 (4:00 PM), on October 2nd, at Walmstedtska Gården, Sysslomansgatan 1, 753 10 Uppsala. Click here to see a map and more information about the Walmstedtska Gården.
The cafe was full, and the organizers said that this was the largest crowd they had drawn in their whole series of India-centered events.
